The Conservatives have launched an interesting, albeit commerical idea: affiliations with companies to get members discounts. BT, MBNA and RAC are first off the blocks. I don’t see any other parties doing this – is it debasing political parties, or a good revenue builder?
A good idea. We all know they’re struggling for money, so to do this is a sign of forward-thinking.
